A few words about Tactile EU

Tactile EU was established in 2018 in Belgium. The business is part of the same group as Tactile Technologies South Africa, established in 2001 in Cape Town – an acknowledged leader in the touch-screen, auto-id and payment technology market.

Where initially the EU business focus was import and distribution, a change in strategy and direction was implemented in 2023. We currently apply our knowledge and expertise by means of a range of services from market research and supply chain management to marketing- and business development.

We do so making use of our team grown over the last 25 years, their expertise and skill and their geographical spread over Africa, Europe and Asia. The team consists of over 50 people based in Taipei, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and Hasselt.

From 2026 onwards the Tactile EU activities will be run by and supported under the Valori Servizi BV.

Mauro Mercuri

MANAGING DIRECTOR

 

Mauro was born in 1975 in Belgium, son of a Belgian mother and Italian father. After 5 years of professional experience in the IT B2B distribution industry he became a young entrepreneur when at the age of 26 he moved from Belgium to South Africa to start what is now known as Tactile Technologies.

Applying old school principles such as respect, commitment, hard work and persistence he has been able to turn Tactile into the powerhouse it is today in South Africa.

Singling out ‘attitude’ as the most important aspect in a human being to become successful he continuously looks to broaden his business dealings. Mauro is a big believer in giving back and through his own Londisizwe Foundation (https://tactiletechnologies.com/csi-projects/) has been donating to various charities for over 15 years.

Among many other donations 4 vehicles have been donated to organisations in South Africa and Belgium so far.



Constantinos Markou

FINANCIAL MANAGER

  

With over a decade of experience in the finance industry, Constantinos is a seasoned professional in accounting, audit, and financial reporting.

Holding senior positions in multiple companies, he has a track record of successfully overseeing accounting and compliance, statutory audit, and financial reporting.

Constantinos is a former Board Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment National Council in Cyprus. He supports existing clients from a finance management point of view and plays a key role in conducting due diligence for new business ventures at Valori Servizi BV.



Jason Lin

SUPPLY & PRODUCT MANAGMENT

 

Jason was born in 1982 in Taiwan. After 10 years of professional experience being representative of hardware manufacturers in the East, he followed the lead of Mauro to become an entrepreneur and set up his own consulting company to provide services of Supply Chain and Business Development.

With belief that key of managing supply chain and developing new business successfully has been always PEOPLE, he spends most of time building business network in relevant industries where he can discover more opportunities to make business happen by connecting multiple suppliers & customers to each other.

Golden Rule is No.1 principle that is in his mind and part of spirit. Everything he does will always benefit both manufacturer and customer in each business relationship he helps set up. He puts his personal interest in last priority which guarantees his long-term success in business and ensure people’s trust on him.

Working with partners around the globe and is looking for more opportunities where he can contribute and provide value.

Tactile Technologies was established in the sunny Cape Town late 2001. From a one-man operation Tactile grew into the market leader it is today. Currently Tactile Technologies SA is a strong team of 50 people spread over 3 offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. The business is an importer and B2B distributor of touch screen-, auto id- and payment technology. The SA team is complemented by a procurement-, product- and supply chain management team based in Taiwan.

Tactile Technologies South Africa successfully represents and distributes brands such as Elo Touch Solutions, FEC Taiwan, Newland ID, Posbank Korea, IMIN Singapore, Sunmi and APG Solutions.

The business is active in many markets incl retail, hospitality and fast food, interactive digital signage, banking, gaming, medical and others.


Collagen Experts Cyprus

After helping set up a distribution network in the EU and the East for Collagen Lift Paris (www.collagenliftparis.com) in 2016 when the brand was launched, a new business named Collagen Experts was set up in 2022 to accelerate growth for the Collagen Lift Paris brand in the EU and beyond.

Collagen Lift Paris is a high end French manufacturer of collagen based products used for skin applications mostly. Its products are currently sold in over 40 countries worldwide. R&D takes place continuously and a first product for non-skin applications is scheduled to go market in 2023.

Collagen Experts acts as Master Distributor and is involved in distribution in Cyprus, the Benelux, Germany and Romania. Collagen Experts has offices in Cyprus and Belgium.
